Launch of the Suffolk eBusiness Club 2006/7 - 08-Aug-06
Developing understanding and adoption of eBusiness in Suffolk is a major
objective of the Chamber of Commerce who are delighted to announce the
re-development of their Suffolk eBusiness Club which is to be funded by Business Link for Suffolk.
“Development of eBusiness is key to commerce in Suffolk” says Dawn Blackwell, eCommerce Manager of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce. “The Internet provides new opportunities for rural businesses to trade both in the county, region and internationally and it is so important that best e-practice is understood as there are a whole new set of rules to understand for trading successfully in this new environment.”
To co-ordinate the eBusiness Club membership and event programme, Suffolk Chamber of Commerce have brought in eBusiness champion Catherine Turner from eBusiness Forum Ltd.
“It was Catherine’s passion and energy for the subject that influenced our
decision to use eBusiness Forum. The team offer a wealth of experience and good e-practice which we will draw on to assist Suffolk businesses” adds Dawn.
